- Description
- Sealed bids from all business concerns will be accepted for North Carolina Forest Highway Project NC PFH 49-1(2), located within the Uwharrie National Forest, Montgomery County, North Carolina. The project consists of removing and replacing the FDR 576 Bridge over Moccasin Creek, and removing and replacing an arch culvert over McLean's Creek on FDR 544, plus associated approach work. The project is expected to fall within the price range of $500,000 to $1,000,000. Bid documents are scheduled to be issued on or about Nov 4, 2002. Bids will be due on or about Dec 3, 2002. Interested parties should register as an Interested Vendor and also register to receive notifications regarding this solicitation through the Federal Business Opportunities website. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) The Department of Transportation (DOT), offers working capital financing and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts. DOT's Bonding Assistance Program (BAP) offers bid, performance and payment bonds on contracts up to $1,000,000. DOT's Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers lines of credit to finance accounts receivable. Maximum line of credit is $500,000 with interest at the prime rate.
