- Description
- Defense Supply Center Richmond intends to acquire spare parts for the A-10 Aircraft/TF-34 Engine through the issuance of both unrestricted and 100% small business set-aside RFPs. This synopsis is for the unrestricted portion of the acquisition for fully competitive NSNs. The solicitation number is SP0410-03-R-0004. NSNs under this solicitation will be acquired in groups that are defined by similar manufacturing materials and processes. It is anticipated that split awards will be made. The resultant contracts will be Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ). The contracts will have a thirty-six month base period and two twelve-month option periods for total maximum period of performance of 5 years if all options are exercised. A total of 25 NSNs are covered by this solicitation. These NSNs fall under the following FSCs: 6810, 6850, and 9150. Once issued (see opening date below) the solicitation will be available at http://www.dscr.dla.mil/proc/VPV/A10Air/a10air.htm. Offerors will be required to register on the website in order to access a copy of the solicitation and related documents. There are technical drawings associated with some of the NSNs under this acquisition. In order to obtain access to drawings, offerors must be registered on the DSCR Technical Data Management Division website. It is suggested that vendors who are not already registered access the following web-site to register prior to release of the solicitation http://www.dscr.dla.mil/tdmd/mb_index.asp. The solicitation will open on October 28, 2002 and close on December 12, 2002. Documents will not be available until the solicitation opening date.
