- The Defense Logistics Agency, Corporate Contracting Division, has a requirement to obtain landscaping, grounds maintenance, and exterior pest management services at the Andrew T. McNamara Headquarters Complex (HQC), the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), 8725 John J. Kingman Road, Building 2462, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060-6220 and the Child Development Center (CDC), 8715 Wills Road, Building 2468, Fort Belvoir, VA by a Firm Fixed-Price Contract. The DTRA and CDC grounds and structures are located within the fence line of the HQC. This acquisition is limited to eligible HUBZone Set-Aside under NAICS Code 561730. The size standard is $6.0M. This procurement is subject to the Service Contract Act, and will include appropriate Department of Labor Wage Determination. We intend to utilize a combination Firm-Fixed-Price/Indefinite Quantity Contract. This can include the following items: Service Calls, Landscaping and Grounds Maintenance (Landscaping and Grounds Maintenance (includes grounds, fences, signs, gates, pond, playground equipment, preventive maintenance, etc), Operation, maintenance and repair of underground irrigation equipment and associated systems, Maintenance and repair of surfaced areas, Exterior Pest Management Services, Cleaning Maintenance of Building Structures, Indefinite Quantity (IDQ) work items of maintenance, repair, equipment installation and minor construction/alteration less than $25,000 per occurrence. If the Contractor agrees, IDQ items in excess of $25,000 may be ordered. Location is the Defense Logistics Agency, HQC, 8725 John J. Kingman Road, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060. The period of performance is a base period from Date of Award to 30 Sept 2003 with four (4) one (one) year options periods. The contractor must furnish all management, labor, supervision, tools, materials, and equipment necessary to perform the work. Contractor must posses all licenses required by local, state, and federal government. Entrance to the facility is controlled.
