Description

The U.S. Agency for International Development of Jordan intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the procurement of services of a U.S. Construction Management Consultant (CMC) . The CMC shall provide complete construction management services, related engineering services, contract administration including administrative, technical and financial for a Host Country design/build/operate contract (DBO), Zara Ma'In Water project . A detailed statement of work will be issued with the RFP. The period of performance of the resulting Contract shall be for a base year of 28 months plus two one-year options. The total value of the contract (including option periods) is estimated to be between $4,800,000 to $6,200,000. The North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) is 541990. Competition level is Full and Open. Paper copies of any resulting RFP will not be provided. The preferred method of distributing the USAID procurement information will be through Federal Business Opportunities. It is the responsibility of the recipient of this solicitation to ensure that it has been received from the Internet in its entirety and USAID bears no responsibility for errors resulting from transmission or conversion process. USAID encourages participation of Small Businesses, Small Disadvantaged Businesses, Women-Owned Small Businesses, HUBZone Small Businesses and service-disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. All questions shall be submitted in writing via email to zabdrabu@usaid.gov and must be submitted within 7 days after issue date of synopsis. Phone calls will be not be accepted regarding this synopsis. The RFP response date published in this synopsis is an estimate only. The actual due date for proposals will be stated in the solicitation when it is issued. USAID is not obligated to award a contract and is not responsible for any costs associated with bid and proposal preparation.
