Description

Elmendorf AFB, Alaska has a SOLE SOURCE requirement for refuse collection services at Galena AFS, Galena AK. This is a SOLE SOURCE acquisition to the City of Galena. This acquisition is for full and open competition. The NAICS code is 562111, size standard $10.5M. City of Galena will be awarded Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) F65501-02-A-0020, for waste collection. Non-Personal Services: STATEMENT OF WORK 1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE 1.1 Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, parts, materials, equipment, and transportation required to perform refuse collection services as required in this Statement of Work (SOW) at Galena AFS, Galena, AK. 2. DUTIES 2.1 The contractor shall pick-up compacting dumpster, transport to landfill, empty, and return compacting dumpster when requested by an authorized BPA caller. 2.2 The contractor shall: 2.2.1 Perform duties within 72 hours of the service being requested. 2.2.2 Return the dumpster, emptied, within six hours of removal. 3. CONDITIONS 3.1 The Air Force shall: 3.1.1 Air Force will provide a concrete pad for the dumpster and electrical power. 3.2 The contractor Shall: 3.2.1 Provide the BOS Site Manager a signed receipt upon completion of services 3.2.2 Obtain receipt signature of the BOS Site or CE Manager verifying service was performed. 3.2.3 Include copies of signed receipts with invoices submitted for payment. 3.2.4 Only those invoiced collections supported by signed receipts will be paid. Potential contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) to be eligible for award. The CCR Internet web site is http://www.ccr2000.com.
