- Description
- The Department of the Navy, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center-Jacksonville, FL (FISC JAX), intends to solicit proposals for an OMB Circular A-76 Cost Comparison Study. The purpose of the study is to determine the most efficient and cost effective method of providing Administrative Support Services for Naval Air Station Atlanta, Georgia. Government personnel are currently performing these services. In accordance with OMB Circular A-76, the offer determined to represent the best value to the Government will be compared to the Government's proposal to perform the above services. Commercial proposals will not result in a contract if Government performance is determined to be more advantageous. These support services shall include the following functional areas: Administrative Support Services, Comptroller Support Services, Housing Management and Referral Support Services, Morale, Welfare and Recreation Support Services, Child Development Support Services, This acquisition will be conducted under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 561110, which establishes $5 million as the threshold for small business size. This is a firm-fixed price effort with a 90-day transition period, base year and four one-year option periods. Evaluation will be based on a formal source selection plan, criteria to be provided in the solicitation. The projected date for issuance of the solicitation is December 3, 2001. Copies can be obtained at the following Web Site approximately on or after December 3, 2001: www.jax.fisc.navy.mil or www.neco.navy.mil. No paper solicitations will be issued and interested parties are responsible for monitoring these sites to download the solicitation and any amendments there of. Information received in response to this announcement marked as corporate or proprietary information will be fully protected from release outside the Government. The Government will not reimburse contractors for the cost of submitting information in response to this announcement. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR- website: www.ccr.gov) prior to solicitation closing date. Faxed responses regarding this notification should be on company letterhead and reference the following number: N68836-02-R-0006 and must be submitted no later than November 2, 2001 to 904 542-1163, attention: R.
