- Description
- This project consists of new Taxiway H edge lighting fixtures, 5KV series lighting conductors, and isolation transformers, duct lines, guidance signs and related appurtenances at Dyess AFB, TX. Provide new Taxiway H constant current regulator to be located in the Assault Strip Lighting Vault. Provide control wiring, connection and testing for control of new Taxiway H lighting from existing lighting control panel in the Main Runway Control Tower and Assault Control Tower. A firm-fixed price contract is contemplated for this acquisition. The estimated project magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000. This procurement is unrestricted and open to both large and small business. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 335129 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The successful contractor will be selected using Past Performance Tradeoff procedures, resulting in the Best Value to the government. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 11 Jul 2002 on Federal Business Opportunities (EPS) at www.eps.gov. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this website frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. You will need the viewers for Microsoft Word (.doc), MaxView (.svd), and Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) to be able to view the solicitation documents. These viewers can be downloaded off of the EPS website. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. A site visit is scheduled for 25 July 02 at 9:30 AM CDT.
