- Description
- The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) plans to issue a solicitation for the purchase of Coil Packaging Lidding Film, BEP stock # 1I001876 in accordance with BEP Specification No. F:CPL-3, dated April 30, 2001. An unrestricted full and open competitive solicitation is planned. The contract type will be Fixed-Price, Requirements type. Delivery terms are F.O.B Destination to the BEP Loading Dock at "D" Street, Between 13th and 14th Sts., S.W. Washington, D.C. The period of performance will be for one (1) twelve (12) month base period and four (4) 12-month option years. Estimated quantities for deliveries to the Washington D.C. facility are: 3,500,000 feet for the base year, 3,000,000 feet for the first option year, 2,500,000 feet for the second option year, 2,500,000 feet for the third option year, and 2,500,000 feet for the fourth option year. This procurement will be negotiated and awarded according to the procedures set forth in FAR parts 12 and 15. Offerors will be requested to submit a material sample consisting of four rolls of film with each roll containing 2,875 feet with their offer for test and evaluation. The selection decision will be based on overall best value to the BEP, price and non-price factors considered. The solicitation will be available on or about February 1, 2002. BEP is posting this announcement, as well as the final solicitation on GSA's Federal Business Opportunities webpage (formally EPS) at http://www.eps.gov.
