- Description
- The U.S. Secret Service intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Strategic Interactions, Inc. to serve as a consultant, advisor, trainer and researcher for the U.S. Secret Service (USSS) in support of the National Threat Assessment Center (NTAC) mission. The work to be performed shall include: external training regarding violence prevention for members of the law enforcement community, school administrators and others with an interest in school-based violence, stalking, workplace violence, violence against women, and other areas of targeted violence; internal training for NTAC and protective intelligence agents and protective intelligence support staff. This notice is neither a request for quote nor a solicitation of offers. Based on the requirements of this solicitation, the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement, on a full and open competitive basis upon receipt of responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. No formal solicitation package is available. Only contractor's capability statements will be accepted and must be received within two (2) calendar days of the date of this notice. The Government will not be responsible for any costs in the preparation of responses to this announcement. See Note 22 - Please insert "2 days" in lieu of "45 days".
