- Description
- HQ AMC/DOYR anticipates issuing an RFP no later than 12 September 2002 for Air Terminal and Ground Handling Services for Air Mobility Command at Kuwait International Airport, Kuwait. Services to include, but not limited to personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other necessary items and services. Contractor shall provide ground handling services, air terminal operations services, and handling of classified information. Handling of classified information will require the contractor to have a facility clearance after contract award and prior to contract performance. Performance will be from 01 April 2003 to 30 September 2003. There will also be Four Option years and Five Award Options; for a possible 10 year contract. The Award Option will consist of additional performance periods of five, one-year options. To earn this additional performance period, the contractor will have to recieve an overall "Excellent" performance rating. Any additional options awarded would be exercised one year at a time for up to five years, at the discretion of the government. Pre-proposal site visit at Kuwait International Airport, Kuwait is scheduled for 27 September 2002. Actual times will be posted as agenda/itinerary becomes available.
