- NASA/GSFC plans to issue a Request for Quote RFQ-228-83993-0000-721, on or about October 15, 2002 with quotes due back on or about October 24, 2002 for 1. two (2) each of computer room air conditioning units, cooling 127.7 MBH; and 2. three (3) each computer room air conditioning units, cooling capacity rated at 150.4 MBH. Complete specifications for both items will be included in the request for quotation. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR PART 12. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 333415 and 750 employees, respectively. The DPAS Rating for this procurement is DO C9. The anticipated release date of RFQ-228-83993-0000/721 is on or about October 15, 2002 with an anticipated quote due date of on or about October 24, 2002. All qualified responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. An ombudsman has been appointed - See NASA Specific Note "B".
