- Description
- Solicitation SP0490-03-R-0237 is being issued to establish an indefinite quantity contract for caster assemblies, NSN 1730-00-532-6704. The only approved item is Aerol Co. (CAGE 83445) part number 12023. The solicitation is being issued on the basis of other than full and open competition, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The solicitation is unrestricted. Contract term will be one year with four one-year option periods. Both stock and direct vendor delivery (DVD) shipments will be required. For stock shipments, FOB destination and inspection and acceptance at destination, in accordance with QAP 001, will apply. Fast Payment procedures will apply to DVD shipments. The stock ship to locations are New Cumberland Army Depot, New Cumberland PA, and Defense Distribution Depot San Joaquin, Tracy, CA. DVDs will be for CONUS locations, as specified in individual requisitions/delivery orders. Required delivery is 121 days. The item has been determined to be non-commercial; the Government does not intend to use FAR Part 12 procedures. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The anticipated issue date is October 22, 2002. The closing date will be November 21, 2002.
