Description

The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, supervision and equipment and perform all operations necessary to accomplish all work complete in place, as shown on the specifications and drawings, to install an HVAC system and replace a multi-zone air handler. Work shall include but not be limited to installation of a new packaged A/C unit for the gymnasium to include new ductwork, DDC controls, electrical, new concrete block screen wall, replacement of existing multi-zone air handler with a new multi-zone air handler, replacement of two existing heat pumps with new heat pumps, installation of supply grills in the racket ball courts and new door grills in the fitness rooms, and miscellaneous testing and balancing. The work shall be fully complete in accordance with the Contract Documents. This is a "straddle bid." Funds are not presently available for this job. If adequate funding does not become available by 30 Sep 2002, the resultant contract may be awarded when the next fiscal year funds become available. This is an unrestricted acquisition. Estimated magnitude for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. This solicitation will be available only via the Internet at the following address: http://www.fedbizops.gov/.
