- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial commodities issued by the Contracting Office, Offutt AFB, NE and prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations document (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation number F25600-02-T-0162 is being issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-07. All applicable provisions and clauses are included in the actual solicitation. This electronic announcement constitutes the only solicitation being issued. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The Government intends to issue a Brand Name or equal purchase order for the following commercial items. 1. AudioLog 40 Ch Dual DVD Drive ? Dual DVD Drive, standard 80GB hard drive ? VGA monitor with a mouse driven Graphic User Interface (GUI) for all functions ? UL, FCC, BABT, CSA, approved power and telco direct line interface authorization ? Activity and alarm logs for each deck ? Operation and maintenance manual ? Multiple levels of password protected security ? Search by: date, time, channel, dialed digits, reference fields and memos ? Non-proprietary hardware ? open, standards based ? Field expandable to 48 channels ? One year warranty on all parts and labor ? Windows NT operating system for multitasking operations. 2. 2nd Year Maintenance 3. Installation and Training The Government reserves the right to award without discussions. OR EQUAL submissions that do not provide complete specifications, as set out in the solicitation will not be considered for award. NAICS Code is 334220; this solicitation is issued as 100 percent SB Set-Aside. Complete written quotations must be physically received by the 55 Contracting Squadron, 101 Washington Square, Offutt AFB by 29 September 2002 at 3:00 pm CST. NO PARTIAL AWARDS WILL BE MADE. Please acknowledge all requirements on quotations. Please indicate FOB destination on quote. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors?Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certification--Commercial Items, with the offer. Contractors must have an active CCR Registration by 29 September 2002 at 3:00 p.m. CST to be eligible for award. Offers are due by 29 September 2002 at 3:00pm CST.
