- TERMITE CONTROL SERVICES, HURLBURT FIELD FL. Hurlburt Field is an Air Force installation that is located in the Florida Panhandle mid-way between Panama City and Pensacola, Florida. This acquisition is set-aside 100% for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561710 with a size standard of $6.0M. The award will be a Firm-Fixed Price contract with four option years. The contractor shall provide all management, licenses, laboratory testing, tools, supplies, equipment, transportation and labor to perform an initial termite survey on 75 existing quad housing units at Hurlburt Field and professionally apply termite treatment using "TERMIDOR" pesticide or approved equal. The contractor shall warranty this service for a period of one year and shall provide the required follow-up applications to extend this warranty service on an annual basis for a period up to four additional years at the option of the Government. The issuance date for this solicitation is projected to be on/about 20 August 2002. PROSPECTIVE CONTRACTORS MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION DATABASE PRIOR TO AWARD OF A GOVERNMENT CONTRACT. OFFERORS ARE FURTHER ADVISED THAT FAILURE TO REGISTER IN THE DOD CENTRAL REGISTRATION DATABASE WILL RENDER YOUR FIRM INELIGIBLE FOR AWARD. REGISTRATION REQUIRES APPLICANTS TO HAVE A DUNS NUMBER. RECOMMEND REGISTERING IMMEDIATELY IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR TIMELY AWARD. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued, but the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available on the Federal Government?s Electronic Posting System: http://www.eps.gov.
