- Description
- Provide all necessary labor, material, supervision and equipment for general repairs and alterations to Government owned and leased facilities in the States of Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Northern Florida. The contract will be divided into two (2) geographical areas. A maximum of six (6) contracts may be awarded for each area. The areas are as follows: Area one (1) will cover Atlanta, GA (Central) Service Center, Atlanta, GA (North) Service Center, Atlanta, GA (South) Service Center, Savannah, GA Service Center (Savannah includes Macon, GA, Thomasville, GA and Northern Florida). Area two (2) will cover Alabama Service Center, Birmingham, AL (Alabama Service Center includes Huntsville, Mobile and Montgomery, AL), Memphis, TN Service Center (Memphis includes Jackson, MS and Tupelo, MS) and Nashville, TN Service Center (Nashville include Knoxville, TN). This will be an Indefinite Quantity Construction Contract with the ability to perform associated design service for construction projects ranging from $2,000.00 to $2 million. The estimated cost of construction for a given year for each geographical area under this contract is approximately $10 million. This solicitation will be procured in accordance with FAR 15.1, Source Selection Procedures, using "best value concept" in making the selections. Individual delivery orders exceeding $2,000.00 may be competed among the selected firms for each area unless the Government deems otherwise on an individual task order basis. Services shall be provided for a one-year base period with four (4) one-year unilateral options on the part of the Government. This solicitation is set-aside for small businesses. The NAIC for this procurement is 233320 and the small business size standard is $27.5 million. The anticipated date of issuance is changed to October 1, 2002.
