- 17. The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center (ELC) intends to solicit Commerical Custodial Services. Services shall be performed at the U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226. It is intended to issue a contract for a base year and four (4) option years. The effort is set-aside for 8(a)firms. The Request for Proposal (RFP) DTCG40-03-R-40007 will be available on or before 04 October 2002. THERE WILL BE A ONE TIME ONLY SITE VISIT ON 10 OCTOBER 2002 AT 10:00 AM AT THE U.S.C.G. YARD, BLDG 58, 2ND FLOOR, LARGE CONFERENCE ROOM, 2401 HAWKINS POINT ROAD, BALTIMORE, MD 21226. ALL OFFERORS SHALL CONTACT KATHY BROWN AT 410-762-6604 OR DAVE MONK AT 410-762-6456 NO LATER THAN 1:00PM ON 09 OCTOBER 2002. It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor the EPS systems for RFP release and all subsequent amendments. The date and time for receipt of proposals shall be specified in the RFP. The government does not intend to pay for the information solicited. Responses must be concise and be specifically directed to the requirement mentioned above. Concerns that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate their capabilities to meet the requirements. The applicable North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 561720 and the size standard is $14.0. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE)! The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of liens or credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
