- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) no E21180. The solicitation clauses and provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this acquisition is 7371 and the NAICS Code is 541511. The Food and Drug Administration intends to issue a purchase order on a sole source basis to Option Technologies Interactive of Orlando, Florida to acquire the following: Option Power Software License, Base Station, Channel 2, Channel 3, Keypads in OTI case, Soft Sided Case with Wheels, and Professional Services training for one day. The following FAR Clauses shall apply t this solicitation: FAR Part 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items FAR Part 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, 52.212-3 Offerors Representations and Certifications, 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Electronic Fund Transfer, and 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. All responsible sources that can provide and meet the above requirement shall submit written quotations by fax 301/827-7151 on September 30 by 2:00 EST. Evaluation/Award will be based on the technically acceptable quote that offers the best value to the government.
