- Description
- Provide the necessary personnel, materials, equipment, etc., to perform scientific and technical support services under an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Type Contract. These services are in support of the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Southwest Fisheries Science Center (SWFSC). Task orders will be issued on an as-needed basis for work to be performed primarily at the SWFSC facility in LaJolla, CA, the contractor's facility, and/or various other NMFS sites within California. Task orders may be issued in to provide technical and analytical support in the disciplines of the physical and biological sciences as well as support in areas of foreign language translation, library sciences and research, scientific illustration, safety and environmental, and administrative support. Labor categories to fulfill these scientific and technical services will include, Scientists, Biological Technicians, Administrative Support/Technical Writer, and Computer Specialist. Any resulting contract will produce either firm-fixed price or labor hour task order(s). The period of performance is for one (1) base year with four (4) additional one-year option(s). A Request for Proposals (RFP) solicitation will be issued on or about July 29, 2002. Requests for the documents are required to be in writing and may be faxed to 206/526-6025 or may be available to download through the FedBizOps website. This is a 100% Small Business Set-aside.
