- Description
- The Acquisition Management Department, National Naval Medical Center (NNMC) Bethesda, Maryland has a requirement for the Neurosurgery Department. NNMC intends to award a Sole-Sourced Procurement to Aesculap, Inc., 3773 Corporate Parkway, Center Valley, PA 18034 for Yasargil Aneurysm Clips, to include various size clips and appliers used in craniotomies for stabilization of neurosurgical patients. Instruments and clips must be adequate to meet the surgeon?s training abilities/standard of care at NNMC and patients needs. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This item will be acquired utilizing the Federal Acquisition Regulation and contingent upon Availability of FY03 Funding.
