- THIS PROCUREMENT IS A SET ASIDE TO HUBZONE VENDORS. Vendors must be registered or register at GSA's Information Technology Solutions shop (ITSS) web site Http://it-solutions, by the close of this NOTICE. Please Email contracting office at joe.eason@gsa.gov confirming your registeration at ITSS AND DESIRE TO RECEIVE THE REQUEST FOR PURCHASE (RFP). The full RFP will be issued over ITSS on 10/3/02. No extensions will be granted. A. Date: 26 Sep 02 B. Title: VTC ?D? Room Upgrade/Installation C.1 Scope of Work. The contractor shall provide skilled technical personnel to support the Video Network Center (VNC) for Video Teleconference Communications equipment, hardware acquisition, and installation support of various AMEDD-wide video teleconferences, telecommunication, infrastructure and various tri-service Information Technology (IT) systems. Personnel provided shall possess the expertise to provide this support as written in this Statement of Work (SOW), the SOW for individual Task Orders (T.O.) or its modifications in support of these T.O.'s. This main contract shall be a Base plus four-year OPTION YEARS. T.O.'s will vary in tenure. C.1.1 Installation of Equipment. As sites become available for installation of VTC equipment, the Government shall provide detailed equipment and installation instructions through a modification to the specific T.O. for that site. All equipment to be installed at each site shall be in identical configurations; however, there will be slight variances to the AMX panel programming/configuration. C.1.2 Contractor shall have a firm grasp and understanding of Video Teleconferencing Equipment installation, including end-point equipment and associated components to include troubleshooting with national and international Telco's networks, and Department of Defense Networks to include USAMISSA, AMEDD and Military Health System (MHS). Troubleshooting knowledge to include an understanding and expertise in the technical areas of Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), communications and infrastructure equipment. C.1.3 Background. The USAMISSAVNC has been chartered to maintain and support VTC systems throughout the AMEDD and Tri-Service. C.1.4 Objective. The contractor shall provide necessary technical and installation personnel support to augment Government staff in the support of various VTC Systems throughout the AMEDD and Tri-Service. C.2 Hours of Operation. Work will normally be performed during normal duty hours, Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays C.2.1 Place of Performance. Work shall be performed at various sites throughout the AMEDD and Tri-Service, which will be identified in each individual T.O. C.2.2 Level of Effort. As identified in each individual T.O. C.2.3 Travel. Contractor personnel will be required to perform temporary duty (TDY) in conjunction with the accomplishment of tasking.
