- Description
- This is a notice of intent to negotiate sole source with ProMed Medical, Inc., 1630 West Evans, Englewood CA 80110, (a small business) for the use of the MTX Coagulation Analyzer and to supply all reagents and supplies required for this analyzer. This shall be for base year with 2 option years. NO WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED and a technical data package is not available. This acquisition is considered commercial in nature as the items are available in the commercial market place. This announcement constitutes the only notice of this acquisition and competitive proposals are not being requested. USAF Academy intends to award this purchase order on October 1, 2002. The NAICS code 421450 applies. The clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items applies to this acquisition, no addenda applies. Additional FAR clauses cited in the clause applicable to this acquisition are: (b) 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 24. DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract terms and conditions required to implement status of Executive Orders applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items, 52,232-19 Availability of Funds for Next Year and 52.217-9 Option to Extend the Term of Contract applies to this acquisition with the inclusion of the following DFARS: 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration, 252.225-7000, Buy American Act - Balance of Payments Program Certificate, 252.225-7001, and Buy American Act and Balance of Payments Program.
