Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote under the number FA4452-02-Q-A374. This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in affect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-09. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 421610. The AMC Contracting Flight plans to issue a purchase order under the IAW FAR 13.3 to for the contractor to accomplish the following: The contractor shall provide 46 Blue Training Weapons, 9mm, (Plastic) Rubber Gun; 46 Blue Training Weapons, M-4, (Plastic) Rubber Gun; 500 Sure Fire Flashlights, Z3 Combat Model, Black; 583 3-Volt Lithium Batteries, High Performance, Package of 12; 270 Sure Fire M-900 Tactical Lights; and 89 Bushnell (brand-name or equal) Model 1000 Laser Range Finders. Price includes shipping and handling. The Government shall appoint a COTR. The COTR shall act as a central Point of Contact (POC) for all field locations. The provision at 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors ? Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Offerors are required to submit a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification ? Commercial Items, with their offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders ?
