Description

The 377 CONS/LGCB, Kirtland AFB, New Mexico, intends to award a sole source purchase order to Fluent Incorporated, 10 Cavendish Court, Lebanon, NH 03766. The objective of this effort will be the delivery of FLUENT Computational Fluid Dynamics Software. Fluent Incorporated is the only known responsible source at this time that is capable of providing the required scientific research software which (a) enables rapid geometrical and mesh set up of 2D and 3D reacting flow problems via simplified graphical user input; (b) produces results that other researcher/organizations recognize as technically acceptable and credible; (c) possesses high quality integrated graphical input and output capability to enable visualization of problem set up and results; (d) incorporates user accessible solver coding, enabling algorithm modifications by the user if required; (e) includes a one week training course provided by vendor technical staff including assistance in setting up an initial 2D flow problem; (e) must be compatible with the user?s computer and computer networking systems with licensing supporting simultaneous utilization on the user?s network and stand-alone classified computers. Anticipated solicitation date is 04 October 2002. Anticipated award date is 11 October 2002. Packaging is standard commercial packaging. SIC Code 7572, NAICS code 511210, Size Standard is $21 million. Delivery date is 2 weeks after receipt of order, FOB Destination.
