- Description
- This amendment modifies reference number NHLBI-HC-0404US as follows: 1. Delete in its entirety the following portion of the requirement "Coordinate, at the direction of the Steering Committee and in collaboration with the Coordinating and Field Centers, the development of scores for morphological and physiological measurements from ultrasound scanning. These scores will be used as measures of subclinical atherosclerosis. The scores must be appropriate to the statistical distribution features characterizing a general population, most members of whom are clinically asymptomatic. Include suggested technical measurements and scoring procedures in the proposal." 2. The number of Ultrasound studies should read "3,530." 3. Any reference in this notice to "cardiac CT imaging" should be changed to read "ultrasound." The date of receipt for responses of capability statements remain the same.
