- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ), F38601-02-Q-P0014. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-06. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 532210, and is set-aside 100% for small business. Only faxed or e-mailed quotations will be accepted, and request must include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification ? Commercial Items, name, address, cage code, DUNS number, and telephone number with its offer. In addition, the following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial; FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation ? Commercial Items, (Price and delivery [FOB destination is desired], in order of importance); FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Status of Executive Orders ? Commercial Items; and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement. All contractors must be registered with the Central Contractors Registration to be eligible for award. This procurement is for the lease of 3 air conditioners. PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATIONS: Lease 3 60-ton DX air-conditioning systems for K-Span. System must cool a 50'x200' building, which will house 350 personnel and support equipment. The contractor will provide flexible ducting to connect to the facility. Three rolls of 20-inch diameter by 250 ft poly ducting. Cable to connect to a 750 KVA transformer (by pigtail) and the air conditioners with properly rated power panels. Contractor will set up system and ensure it is running to optimum before turning it over to HVAC support personnel. Also price will include transportation and freight charges to and from the site. Contractor will provide technical support for set-up and take-down. The three rolls of poly ducting will be left on site for use by the government. Contractor will provide 24-hour emergency phone service with a maximum 2-hour response time.
