Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation for purchase request F13SVM22111700 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures at FAR Subpart 13.3. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-09 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement Change Notice (DCN) 20020730. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. This requirement is unrestricted, NAICS 339113 500 people. Catalog numbers for all contract line items (CLIN) are referenced to American Hotel Register Company. CLIN 0001, mattress pad queen size, catalog number S793571, qty 504 each; CLIN 0002, Blanket queen size, catalog number S79SANTA-90, color: natural, qty 500 each; CLIN 0003, umbrella holder, satin brass, catalog number F6M921, qty 25 each; CLIN 0004, wire shelving, 24x36x74 chrome, catalog number: QSW30052, qty 20 each; CLIN 0005, wire shelving, 24x60x74 chrome, catalog number: QSW30024, qty 30 each; CLIN 0006, stationary security unit, catalog number: N6GSEC55C, qty 10 each; CLIN 0007, double tier lockers starter, catalog number B4PSL8002TN, qty 5 each; CLIN 0008, four person wall mounted locker , catalog number B4PSL8007TN, qty 2 each; and CLIN 0009, shelf for security units, catalog number N6G2448NC, qty 30 each. The required delivery date is 30 days after award. The place of delivery and acceptance is Maxwell AFB, Alabama. FOB point is Maxwell AFB, Alabama 36112. Partial shipment and partial payment are authorized. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial Item (OCT 2000) applies to this acquisition. Award will be based on price. All contractors must include with their quotes, a completed copy of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provision 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. The following FAR provision applies to this Solicitation: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial and 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (JULY 2002). The following Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) provision applies 252.225-7035 Buy American Act-North American Free Trade Agreement Implementation Act-Balance of Payments Program Certificate (MAR 1998). The FAR clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (FEB 2002), applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (MAY 2002), applies to this acquisition, and the following subparagraphs under paragraph are applicable (11) 52.222-21, Prohibition of Segregated Facilities; (12) 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; (13) 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; (14) 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities; (15) 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; (16) 52.222-19, Child Labor-Cooperation with Authorities and Remedies; (24) 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer. The Government contemplates award of one fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation.
