Description

The U.S. Customs intends to issue a purchase order for the following equipment. Item 1. Chemical Agent Spray - Live Unit Specific Requirements: Quantity 2400. A 1.5 - 2.5OZ canister containing a chemical agent composed of at least 4% solution Oleoresin Capsicum not to exceed 10 %,. The unit must be capable of delivering a narrow chemical stream to a distance of at least six feet. The firing mechanism must be of a spring loaded, hinged, flip top design which allows an officer to rapidly fire the chemical yet prevents unintentional discharges. The diameter of the canister must not exceed 1.5 inches. The over all length must not be greater than 4.5 inches. Item 2. Chemical Agent Spray - Inert Training Unit Requirement. Quantity 1280 each. The vender who supplies the live unit must also produce an inert training unit that has identical operational features. The training unit replicate the dispersion characteristics of the live unit. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. POC for technical specification is Sharon Kilcrease.
