- UNICOR intends to enter into a three (3) year firm fixed price requirements type contract for Hinges. The solicitation number is FN1115-02 and this solicitation is issued as an Request For Proposal (RFP). Specifications and quantities for hinges will be provided in the solicitation document. Hinges are to be delivered FOB Destination FCI Forrest City, AR, FOB Destination FCC Allenwood, PA, FOB Destination FCI Sheridan, OR and FOB Destination FCI Texarkana, TX. Delivery is 30 days for initial order and 21 days for all orders thereafter receipt of each delivery order. This is a full and open competitive Request for Proposal for Hinges. Offerors are advised that the Government intends to evaluate offers and award on an all or none basis per factory location. Offers shall submit signed and dated offers to UNICOR, Office Furniture Group, 320 First Street NW, 400 Building, 7th Floor, Washington, DC 20534, ATTN: Bid Custodian. Fax proposals are accepted at 202-305-7337/7350. Offers must send in original copy of offer within 2 days of offer closing date. All offerors must acknowledgment all amendments if applicable. Offers received after the exact time and date specified will not be considered. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate proposals: past performance, quality and price. A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer will be mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Offerors may receive a copy of the solicitation by logging onto UNICOR?s webpage at www.UNICOR.gov or Fedbizops.gov/procurement. This solicitation should be posted to the UNICOR website and Fedbizops on or about August August 5, 2002.
