- Description
- This solicitation is pursuant to the Small Business Competitive Demonstrative Program ans is therefore unrestricted. The Architect/Engineer (A/E) firm shall provide all design/engineering services, investigation, design surveys, verification of as-built conditions, construction drawings, cost estimates, phasing and estimated construction time schedule as required for a fully developed set of construction documents for the construction of four (4) new elevators, and all related facilities, at the building=92s main entry.=20 Work includes, but is not limited to: space planning efficiencies, traffic flow, general construction, extension/relocation of all utilities with appropriate interconnections, finishes, signage, HVAC, Plumbing, Mechanical, demolition, phasing, construction barriers, NFPA Interim Life Safety Measures, Fire Protection Systems, ADA requirements, and etc. The NAICS code is 541310 with a size standard of $4.0 million. 254's and 255's will be accepted from responsible firms within a 100 mile radius of the greater New Orleans metropolitan area. The radius will be determined based on the address stated in block 1 of the SF254. The A/E selection will be based on the professional and specialized services as stated in numbered note 24. All 254's and 255's are due by 4:00 p.m. - close of business, Friday October 25, 2002. Award is subject to the availability of funds.
