- Description
- Project involves construction of modified fuel profile zones, treatment and removal of product, treatment of miscellaneous noxious weed/plants, treatment of riparian reserves and reduction of fuels on approximately 630 acres of National Forest land, Weaverville Ranger District, Shasta-Trinity National Forest, Trinity County, California. Work shall include product treatment and removal, hand cutting dead and damaged vegetation, riparian reserve hand piling/burning, grapple piling/mastication, green buffer treatment and fireline construction. Estimated start work date is Spring 2003 with a contract time of 2 years. Solicitation will be a Request for Proposal using evaluation criteria as shown in Section M. A pre-bid tour will be held to view the project site; date, time and location will be shown in the solicitation. Solicitation will be available for downloading from this website on or about October 8, 2002.
