- INTENT TO AWARD General Information Document Type: Pre-Solicitation Notice Solicitation Number: GS-00P-02-CYM-0067 Posted Date: September 19, 2002 Original Response Date: September 26, 2002 Current Response Date: September 26, 2002 Archive Date: October 1, 2002 Product & Service Code: R499 NAIC Code: 541612 Contracting Office Address General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service (PBS), Center for Management Support and Administrative Services (PHA), 1800 F Street NW Room 6028, Washington, DC, 20405 Description The General Services Administration?s Public Buildings Service (GSA/PBS) intends to issue a contract to DEGW under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy requirements. This procurement is to obtain consulting services associated with Workplace 20.20 pilot projects. In order to successfully meet the demands of the scope of work, the consultant must possess expertise in a broad array of focus areas, including: behavioral science, environmental and organizational psychology, as well as business metrics and integration with architectural design analysis. The consultant shall provide scope development and documentation, research design (performance measure development and research methodology), work process analysis, and business case analysis (including project justification based on cost analysis, productivity impacts and measures, and other human capital/cultural factors). This contract shall be awarded to the contracting firm for the sole purpose of providing consulting services; the contractor shall be prohibited from providing architectural design services in association with any of the Workplace 20.20 pilot projects. The proposed contract action is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. The government will consider all inquiries received by close of business Thursday, September 26, 2002. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
