- NA NSN 1025-01-312-1014 (PN 12576115) and NSN 1025-01-365-7042 (PN 12553710). Solicitation is being re-synopsized to request initial and revised proposals due to a significant change in quantities. The items to procure are Equilibrators for use on the M109 Howitzer. Major components include eye assy; cylinder; piston; adapter; bearing cylinder; nuts; servovalve assy; relief valve assy; bleeder valve; manifold, block, tube, bracket assy . Also included, but not limited to, several seals, packings, setscrew s, and numerous purchased parts. Most major components are manufactured from forgings and common stock. Proposed contract is full and open competition. This procurement is a best value action and evaluation for award will consider performance risk, pri ce and small business participation. Any award resulting from this solicitation will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract with four pricing periods. The minimum guaranteed quantities are 10 each PN 12576115 and 30 each PN 12553710. The maximum quantities per ordering period are as follows: 20 ea PN 12576115 and 40 each PN 12553710. FOB is Destination. An amendment to reopen the solicitation and to request initial and revised proposals is estimated to issue 7 Oct 02. This solicitatio n will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date of the amendment by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to t he date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. Vendors w ho need this TDP in order to prepare a bid or proposal are instructed to request same by submission of an email request to: tacom-ri-tdp@ria.army.mil. Any said requests should contain the following information; CAGE Code (if available), Company Name, Po int of Contact (optional), Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, Telephone Number. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the amendment reopening the solicitation has been released to the internet. All or a part of this action is an unfunded FY02 r equirement.
