Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation notice for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This procurement is restricted to 100% HUBZone concerns. Request For Quote on the following ITEM 0001 Qty 1 each Heated Air Make Up Unit Model TA220NGVRH with controls and blower drive enclosed within the unit with the following components: 24,000 CFM, 15 HP ODP one speed motor; 1,848,000 BTU; 70?F Temperature rise, controlled by remote sensors; Outdoor pad mounted; Direct fired heat exchange; G90 galvanized casing designed for outdoor installation; Blower with forward curved blades with externally supported flanged bearings; Horizontal, screened air intake with vertical discharge; V-bank style with 1" cleanable air intake filters (access door for easy replacement); Gas control cabinet and pre-piped gas combustion system mounted on burner section to FM specifications: low pressure gas interlock, main gas valve, pressure regulator, metering valve, high pressure gas interlock plug valve, pilot pressure regulator and pilot gas valve, flame scanner, high limit switch, air flow switch, power transformer, ignition transformer and spark plug; motor control cabinet to include: main breaker disconnect, magnetic motor starters with adjustable overload protection for AMU unit and booth exhaust fan, motor fuse protection, terminal strips for field wiring, lighting contactor for booth lights; Test port to measure pressure drop across burner with adjustable profile. ITEM 0002 Qty 1 each Model CP-4 E.T.L Listed NEMA12 Pre-wired Control Panel: Allen-Bradley MicroLogix 1200 PLC Panel view 550 touch screen interface that controls paint booth start and stop; heat mode selection; booth lighting on or off; temperature control set points. Touch screen must indicate both exhaust fans and air make-up unit blower "on"; flame alarm; flame "on"; air make-up unit clogged filter; door position; air make-up unit discharge temperature. ITEM 0003 Qty 1 each Fresh Air Intake Duct Kit: six feet straight discharge duct; wall flange, discharge damper, discharge diffuser (3-way). ITEM 0004 Qty 1 each Mechanical Installation to include assembling, installing and connecting all equipment. ITEM 0005 Qty 1 each Start up, Balance and Training upon completion of mechanical and electrical installation to include startup of the equipment, check all functions, balance the airflow (air intake to exhaust); train customer's operators and maintenance personnel in the operation, maintenance and trouble shooting of the equipment. ITEM 0006 Qty 1 each Engineering and Miscellaneous. Contractor must quote on all items listed. A site visit will be held on Bldg 1450 @ 2:00p.m. (CST) on 24 September 2002, contact SrA Coronel, Rommel via E-mail (Rommel.Coronel@Lackland.af.mil) or Phone (210) 671-1768 one day (23 September 2002) prior to the site visit. FOB: Destination for delivery is Lackland AFB, TX. Delivery should be 60 days after receipt of order or sooner. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-08, NAICS is 333199. Note that 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. 52.212-2 Evaluations ? Commercial Items evaluation will be based upon ability to meet requirements and price. In addition the clause at 52.212-5, Contract terms and conditions required to implement Statutes or executive orders- Commercial Items applies to this solicitation. Specifically the following clauses cited are applicable: FAR 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; FAR 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for special disabled and Vietnam Era Veterans; Far 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Handicapped Workers. All interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004 & 252.232-7009. CCR can be obtained by accessing the Internet or by calling 1-888-227-2423. The CCR number must be obtained before award can be made. Include all shipping in price for each line item.
