Description
The US Department of Commerce/ National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), has a requirement for a hotel in Seattle, Washington to accommodate 30 out of town guests. Hotel must offer (1) Government per diem or cheaper for overnight rooms; (2) availability to accommodate 30 overnight guests during February 9 - 14, 2003 (3) conference room space during the period of February 11 ? 13 sufficient to comfortably accommodate 70 persons seated in a classroom style setting; and (4) reasonable access to transportation. Conference room should be provided with audiovisual and other equipment including: flip chart (including paper and markers), 35MM overhead projector with screen, and wired microphone. Food for as many as 70 persons will be required and should be catered to the conference room. Food needs include (1) continental breakfast; (2) lunch; (3) PM break on Tuesday, Wed, and Thursday, February 11, 12, and 13th. Also, food for and space for an evening reception Tuesday, February 11, 2002 will be required consisting of heavy hors d?ouvres. Interested sources with room availability should submit price lists and layout/size descriptions for (1) hotel guest rooms; (2) conference room(s); A/V equipment; and (4)catered meals (including menus of food items). Evaluation will be done to determine best value. Award will be made under the Simplified Acquisition procedures. All sources capable of satisfying this requirement are invited to submit proposal information as to their capabilities and any other pertinent data to the address listed by September 24, 2002.
