- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation number is F73S0822410500. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This RFQ incorporates provisions and clauses as those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Number 2001-09. This requirement is unrestricted; the associated NAICS code for this acquisition is 33612. McConnell AFB, Kansas, plans to lease to purchase over 5 years, the following item: Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001, 1 each: Explosive Ordinance Disposal Emergency Response Vehicle. Vehicle requirements: 35,000-pound GVW Emergency Response vehicle capable of safely transporting 4 personnel. Vehicle must have a walk through cab that allows passengers to move from the cab to the cargo compartment without leaving the vehicle. The vehicle needs to incorporate a command station for the robot controller, drive through storage for the robot and be pre-wired for the robotic control station video display. Must be able to accommodate robot with following dimensions: 45? wide by 72? tall by 80? long and have a ramp for moving robot in and out of vehicle. The vehicle must incorporate work surfaces and storage in the aft cargo area and have internal and external lockable rollup doors and drawers. Model # Emergency One: Freightliner FL ? 80, 2 ? Door, Extended Chassis, or equal. FOB destination. For the period: 1 October 2002 ? 30 September 2003, $100,000 lump sum. CLIN 1001: Option Year One, 1 October 2003 ? 30 September 2004, 1 lump sum. CLIN 2001: Option Year Two, 1 October 2004 ? 30 September 2005, 1 lump sum. CLIN 3001: Option Year Three, 1 October 2005 ? 30 September 2006, 1 lump sum. CLIN 4001: Option Year Four, 1 October 2006 ? 30 September 2007, 1 lump sum. Final payment shall be for $1.00, to be paid by Warner-Robbins AFB. Please provide an Alternative bid as follows: CLIN 0001 - Base Year for the cost of the vehicle less $1.00 and CLIN 1001 ? Option Year One, 1 October 2003 ? 30 September 2004 - $1.00 to be paid by Warner-Robbins AFB.
