- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Detachment Washington is soliciting price quotes for Forensic Light Source Equipment on behalf of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service Headquarters (NCIS), Washington, DC. This action will result in a firm-fixed price award with anticipated payment using a government purchase credit card. This award will be made on a full and open competitive basis. It is intended to acquire the following: 100W handheld Forensic Light source, 1000 Hour rated bulb. Innovative Internal Dual Wheel combination allows 12 positions and even more narrow band wave lengths that includes: 11 wave length: 365-415-440-465-490-515-540-565-590-CSS + all combinations on a 2-internal Thumbwheels, 4 goggles (1 clear, 1 orange,1 yellow, and 1 red), 12V battery and battery charger, 110V AC power Supply, Spare 100W lamp (1000 hours lifetime), carrying case and instruction manual. The quantity required for this action is 21. The delivery date for this acquisition is September 30, 2002. NOTE: This acquisition contract will be awarded using the Test Program for Certain Commercial Items procedures in accordance with FAR 13.5. The solicitation is available on NECO under solicitation number N00600-02-Q-2492. The NECO website is www.neco.navy.mil. All responsible sources may submit an offer.
