- Description
- This is a notice of intent from the Naval Air Systems Command to issue a sole source follow-on contract to Micro Systems, Inc (MSI) for the supplies and services necessary to procure approximately ten (10) portable, shipboard deployable, over-the-horizon System for Naval Target Control (SNTC) - Target Control Systems, transponders, kits and miscellaneous hardware. Additionally, Naval Air Systems Command intends to procure Pre-Planned-Product Improvements (P3I), and Acquisition Life Cycle Support for the SNTC System. MSI is the sole manufacturer of the SNTC Target Control System, and is the only firm that possesses the necessary knowledge, experience, and technical data required to perform these efforts. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
