Description

Principal features of the work include furnishing three replacement runners, cones, stationary wear rings and one set of spare stationary wear rings for the existing turbines for Francis-type Hydraulic Turbines at Kortes Powerplant, Pick-Sloan Missouri Basin Project, Wyoming. These supplies are to be delivered to the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation Wyoming Area Office's Warehouse, located in Mills, Wyoming. This acquisition is a competitive negotiated, firm-fixed price contract. The evaluation criteria to be used are as follows: 1) Contractor's Past Performance; 2) Key Personnel; 3) Warranty; 4) Schedule; and 5) Price. For this acquisition, technical is more important than price. The due date for proposals is tentatively scheduled for November 15, 2002 at the Bureau of Reclamation's Great Plains Regional Office, 316 North 26th Street, Billings, Montana. The Solicitation packages will be available on or around October 10, 2002. There is no charge for the first copy of this solicitation, and additional sets will be provided upon receipt of a nonrefundable check or money order of $9.00 each set. All reasonable sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. The North American Industrial Classification System Code is 333611. The small business size standard is 1000 Employees. This acquisition is unrestricted. After issuance, the Solicitation (excluding Drawings) may be viewed at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. To request a hard copy of the solicitation (including drawings) contractors must fax a request to (406) 247-7798, Attn: Gerri Voto. The request must include contractor's name, address, phone/fax numbers, tax identification number and their Dun and Bradstreet number.
