- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items issued by the Contracting Office, Offutt AFB, NE and prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) document subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Therefore, this synopsis shall serve as a request for quote (RFQ) under Purchase Request Number F4AFWAWORLDMAR. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541519, size standard $21M. The government intends to issue a purchase order to acquire Level II support to include engineering changes and OEM parts to maintain Worldmark Production and Development System 4700 and 5100M products as follow: 1 each 3426 AWS console/2P6/12*nodes (3426-7604-8000); 1 each 1000 VA 120 V 4071 UPS-2nd GEN (4071-1020-7194); 4 each SW disk array plus-MP (G460-0053-0000); 1 each S40 AWS/4 (1+nodes) (3438-6137-8000); 1 each On-Line UPS, 1000VA, 700W, 120 (4081-1000-7194) and 1 each PM II UPS Shutdown SW for AT&T (4081-K519-V001. 5100M System support is standard, 8 X 5 and 4700 System support is Business Critical, 7 X 24. All payment on hardware maintenance will be made on a monthly basis to the contractor who wins the award. Please acknowledge all requirements on quote. FAR 52.232-19 Availability of Funds (Apr 1984) funds are not presently available for this award. The government?s obligation under this award is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for award purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this award and until the contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-08. All applicable provisions and clauses are included in the solicitation that can be found at www.fedbizops.gov under Vendors, USAF-Offices, Air Combat Command-Locations, 55 CONS Offutt AFB Posted Date. The provision at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Evaluation will be based on best value including cost and ability to meet requirements. Offeror shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certification, Commercial Items, with this offer. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions, Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders, Commercial Items (which includes 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; 52.222-35, Equal Opportunity for Special Disabled Veterans, Veterans of the Vietnam Era, and Other Eligible Veterans; 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities; 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Special Disabled Veterans, Veterans of the Vietnam Era, and Other Eligible Veterans; 52.222-41, Service Contract Act of 1965, As Amended; 52.222-42, Statement of Equivalent Rates for Federal Hires (applicable to Service Contracts only) applies to this acquisition. The clause at DFAR 252.204-7004, Required Central Contracting Registration applies to this and all future acquisitions.
