- Description
- Provide professional engineering services to accomplish the design development, construction documents, technical specifications, construction period services, site visits and cost estimates for Project 515-303, Renovate Building 7, at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Battle Creek, Michigan. The project is to finish a partially completed renovation project and will utilize materials on site and existing project documents. The scope of work is to renovate approximately 42,240 square feet located on the first and second floor of Building 7 to accommodate a 90 bed hotel concept that has adequate bathroom facilities. The disciplines of work include architectural, electrical, and mechanical alterations resulting from the proposed construction. Estimated construction cost is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. Selection criteria will be based on Department of Veterans Affairs A/E Short List Criteria Form. This form can be accessed at www.va.gov/facilities. AE firms meeting criteria must submit two copies of Standard Form 254 and 255 by close of business October 21, 2002, local time. NAICS 541330 applies. No bid packages are available. This is not a request for proposal.
