- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for membership services. The Department of Justice, subject to availability of funds, intends to issue an award on a sole source basis to the Corporate Executive Board's Working Council for Chief Information Officers, 200 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Suite 6000, Washington, DC 20006, for a one-year membership. The membership services provided are designed to assist and provide information to members in the area of management of IT initiatives (the nature of these services are more completely set at www.cio.executiveboard.com). GAO utilizes this service as one of a number of information services and memberships of value to key IT managers. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Responses received as a result of this notice of intent, shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses will not be considered as either proposals or bids. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition, based upon the written responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Please see attached solicitation. This combined document serves as the only solicitation. No additional document will be issued.
