- Description
- The United States Border Patrol El Paso Air Operations is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation EFO-2-Q-0030 is being issued as a Request for Quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-07. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition including solicitation amendments will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. A single award will be made. This is an unrestricted acquisition. CLIN 0001 Fully Portable Digital Flexible Borescope: Guaranteed Minimum 1 each/Maximum 6 each $__________ each. Minimum requirements: Outer diameter 4.0 - 5.0 maximum insertion tube, minimum working length 1 meter, high resolution monitor, 90 degree tip adapter, floppy disc drive to record images on 3.5 inch floppy, and case for storage/shipping. Delivery shall be within 60 days after award of the contract or subsequent delivery order(s). Delivery is to be FOB destination to the U.S. Border Patrol Air Operations, 9C Butterfield Trail, El Paso, TX 79906. The provisions at FAR 15.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. FAR 12.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, is applicable. Paragraph (a), evaluation criteria is as follows: Award will be made to the most advantageous offer to the Government, price and other factors considered. OFFEROR SHALL INCLUDE A COMPLETED COPY OF THE PROVISIONS AT FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items along with the firm's DUNS number.
