Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. All responses to this solicitation must make reference to solicitation number F04693-02-T-0009. LAAFB proposes to procure draperies that meet the following requirements and specifications: Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001 Customized Drapes, Southwest Room, 2 sets draperies with black-out lining, size: 140in x 109in, Fabric: MENG, Color: Bone, 100% polyester, inherently flame-proof, Lining: softy black-out, 70% polyester/30% cotton, 4-inch double bottom hems, 5-inch top hems, weights in all seams, installed on new heavy duty traverse rods; CLIN 0002 Customized Drapes, Garden Room, 4 sets of draperies for windows, 2 sets of swags with cascades for doorways, Fabric/lining to match Southwest Room, installed on new heavy duty hardware; CLIN 0003 Customized Drapes, Fireside Room, 8 sets of draperies with black-out lining, Size: 92in x 98in, Fabric, Lining, Seams, and weights as described in Southwest Room, installed on new heavy duty traverse rods; CLIN 0004 Customized Drapes, Patio Room, 5 sets of draperies for windows, 3 sets of swags with cascades for doorways, fabric and lining to match Southwest Room, installed on new heavy duty hardware; CLIN 0005 Customized Drapes, Ballroom and Stage, 7 sets of draperies for windows, 4 sets of swags with cascades for doorways, complete set of stage draperies, fabric and lining to match Southwest Room, installed on heavy duty hardware. NOTE: All rooms require the removal of existing draperies and hardware and the installation of new hardware and draperies. There are a total of 5 rooms/CLINs. The quotation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-14. This service is listed as NAICS 314121 with a size standard of 500 employees. The proposed contract is 100 percent set-aside for small business. Interested vendors are invited to a pre-proposal site visit to be held on 24 September at 8:00AM PST at the Community Center on Fort MacAurther in San Pedro, California. Please provide names of individuals attending no later than 20 September. Required delivery is to the Community Center at Fort MacArthur in San Pedro and is 30 days after contract award. Interested vendors will have ten (10) days from the pre-proposal site visit to submit their quote. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this quotation, contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor (CCR) database. NO EXEMPTIONS. In order to register, apply through the internet at http://www.ccr2000.com. A DUNS (Dun and Bradstreet) number is required in order to register. Verification of CCR registration and Tax Id Number must accompany your quote. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition and addenda are not attached. FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition and a completed copy should be provided with the offer. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, DFAR 252.204-7004, Required Central Contract Registration, FAR 52.233-3, Agency Protests, and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, including the following subclauses, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-3, 52.225-13, and 52.232-33, apply to this acquisition. In accordance with FAR 52.212-2, the evaluation criteria for this solicitation will consist of the offeror's past performance and price.
