- Description
- The Department of the Treasury intends to issue a solicitation to establish multiple-award IDIQ contracts for Project 25 compliant Land Mobile Radio subscriber units, accessories and ancillary services to meet the needs of Treasury and its Bureaus, the Department of Justice and its components, and other potential Federal customers. The subscriber units include VHF, UHF and 800 Mhz portable, mobile and desktop base station radios, portable repeaters and encryption key loading equipment. Ancillary services include associated product training, as well as installation and deinstallation of mobile equipment. All offered LMR products will be required to meet EIA/TIA-102 standards, also known as Project 25 Standards. The majority of products purchased through these vehicles will also be required to provide EIA/TIA-102 compliant Digital Over-The-Air-Rekeying capability. The contracts will be for a base year and four one-year options and will include the clause 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services. All responsible sources may submit an offer.
