- Description
- Compressed Air Starting System (CASS) installation, contractor shall begin work in the CASS in the northwest section of the operational apron of the 80th FTW across from building 2320. VNVP 021129 They will demo compressor 1, install the new Ingersoll-Rand model XFE-250-2S or approved equal compressor, sequencer panel and insulation where needed. Contractor will then retrofit the three remaining compressors to communicate with new sequencer panel. This contract may contain options to purchase additional CASS equipment. For example: 3 additional compressors, desiccant tanks, and surge air receiver tanks. Performance period is approximately 45 days from notice to proceed. Solicitation is being issued as a full and competitive acquisition. Solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted through the Electronic Posting System (http://eps.gov/). A complete statement of work is attached with this synopsis. Paper copies WILL NOT be provided. Contractors will be solely responsible for monitoring the Internet and obtaining the solicitation and amendments and downloading them for their files.
