- Description
- The U.S. Maritime Administration (MARAD) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with the Alameda Reuse and Redevelopment Authority (ARRA) to continue layberthing services for approximately eight vessels (no. may vary) in Alameda, CA under Contract DTMA9197C00004. The contract expired April 30, 2002. MARAD intends to extend to the contract for two months with either 5 additional two-month options or 10 additional one-month options. MARAD believes that ARRA is the only responsible source that can meet its requirements. See numbered note 22. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs)! The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
