- Description
- MARAD proposes to procure by sealed bidding procedures layberthing services for two CAPE V RO/RO Vessels on the Gulf Coast. The resultant contract will be a follow-on to contract DTMA91-97-D-00004. The period of performance is one year with four one-year options. It is contemplated that the invitation for bid (IFB) will permit an alternate bid with a period of performance consisting of an initial three-year period followed by seven one-year options. An IFB will be available on or about June 3, 2002 from www.fedbixops.gov or www.nbc.gov. Bid opening will be held on or about July 3, 2002. All responsible sources may submit a bid that will be considered by MARAD. ATTENTION: Minority, women-owned, and disadvantaged business enterprises (DBEs). The Department of Transportation (DOT), short-term lending program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
