- Description
- This is a notification of intent to procure on a sole source basis with Piller, Inc. for the procurement, installation, commissioning and testing of a SCADA system to monitor and record from one central location (Martinsburg Computing Center, Martinsburg, WV). The SCADA system will communicate and reflect information from the 5 paralleled Piller UniBlock II RUPS modules and the associated MAUB Switchgear; the Piller RUPS paralleling Switchgear and the Piller RUPS output switchgear. The Internal Revenue Service previously purchased Piller, Inc. equipment with integral operating and control software in early 1995, therefore, any other software or communication means would not be compatible in this application. The expected date of award is September, 23, 2002. No award will be made on the basis of any proposals or other information received in response to this notice since this is a notification of intent to acquire and not a request for proposals.
