- Description
- The Fleet Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Detachment Washington is intends to award a Full and Open competitive, Firm Fixed Price contract for Naval District Washington, Bachelor of Housing for 106 Refrigerators. The Contractor shall remove the existing refrigerators from the housing unit and install a new refrigerator in its place. New refrigerators shall be installed, leveled side to side and front to rear, and set up for proper operations in accordance with the manufacturer's printed instructions, free of defects and damage. The Contractor when required, shall change the opening of doors over from left to right or from right to left to match the original unit replaced. Doors shall be adjusted and aligned to open and close properly, free from air gaps between the gaskets, rubbing, misalignment, and other deficiencies. The Contractor shall check the unit for proper operations, set temperature controls at the median temperature setting, and leave the unit running with the doors in the closed position. The work includes but shall not be limited to providing all necessary labor, equipment, material, transportation, and supervision required to perform the following work. Delivery will be 90 day after date of award. NOTE: This Acquisition is being conducted using the test program at FAR 13.5. Under these procedures the government is (1) not required too determine a competitive range; (2) is not required to hold discussions; (3) is not required to provide offerors with an opportunity to submit final revised proposals." The North American Industry Classification System Code is 42174. Award will be made to the offeror, which provides the best overall value to the Government. The Request for Proposal will be available at the NECO web-site when issued under solicitation number N00600-02-Q-2662. The NECO web-site is www.neco.navy.mil. This requirement has a short turnaround time and will only be available for a short period of time. NOTE: No bids will be accepted after the specified closing date and time.
